  9. I just finished a complete system folder drag! (drag an INIT out, restart, drag
  10. another one, etc.)  The results of my investigation:

  12. Pyro 1.3.1 conflicts with CPS SavesDeletes 1.6 on a one meg Mac SE, running
  13. System 6.02, monoFinder.  I have the usual INITs (Suitcase, Vaccine,
  14. SuperClock, etc.  With only CPS SavesDeletes and Pyro in my System Folder,
  15. trying to UnDelete a file by the Saves Deletes method, in Mac Tools 7.2,
  16. invariably results in a Bomb: System error ID = 02.  With Pyro out of the
  17. folder and all my other goodies back in it runs properly.

  19. Is this a known problem?  Has anyone else had similar difficulties?  Is there a
  20. cure?  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

  22. Since Pyro is just cosmetic (but elegantly so), and I occasionally have to
  23. undelete a file, Pyro is destined to be trashed until the problem is resolved.

  37. Yes, it's a known problem.  Central Point Software is also aware of it.  No
  38. cure as yet.

  51. I guess the only thing I can do is eliminate the less useful INIT/CDEV (Pyro)
  52. until it is worked out.

  75. Same on a 2 meg Mac II -- won't even empty trash.  I removed the CPS stuff.     
  76. Seems to me they could get it right, before distributing it, especially
  77. as it is a utility to save you this sort of trouble....

  89.   The current version of Pyro can be turned on or off on the control panel.  It
  90. exhibits the same problems when "on", but can be turned "off" to un-delete
  91. files.

  93.    Since I don't need to undelete all that often, it works for me!
